Perseverance in the Olympics

As the Olympics came to an end it was a very momentous occasion with a lot of examples of perseverance shown in the events. With Joannie Rochette’s mother dying 3 days before her event she showed perseverance by still trying even in a tough time in her life and still winning a bronze metal. Also with Sidney Crosby not doing really anything for the Canadian men’s hockey team until the gold medal game by doing all the things right he should have been doing before but still trying nevertheless and scoring the golden goal to bring the Olympics to an end. Here is a question about perseverance in the Olympics; who do you think showed the most perseverance in the 2010 Olympic winter games?

  1. I think that the Canadian person that showed the most Perseverance would be Joanne Rochette. Her Mom died just days before her event and she still pulled through for Canada and won a Bronze Medal. I think it would be hard for her doing that.
